Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical components, and HVAC systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and industrial machinery when necessary for repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and repair guides to ensure precise work aligned with manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders promptly, and communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and timelines.
- Assist in the assembly or disassembly of complex mechanical components using welding techniques or specialized tools when required.
- Adhere to safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
Skills
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, or other heavy industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar or similar heavy equipment brands; electrical experience is highly valued.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and reading schematics for troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during repairs or installations.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to clearly explain technical issues to clients.
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC systems within vehicles or industrial settings; experience with industrial equipment assembly is a plus.

Pay: $32.00-$38.00 per hour
