Position: Licensed Practical Nurse /MOA

Status: Part-time / Mat-leave position
Work hours: can vary, from 4-hour to 8-hour shifts

DESCRIPTION: We are a group of 5 specialists. Under the direction and supervision of our Physicians and Clinic Manager, you will be accountable for providing care and support to pregnant and /or gynaecology patients in our clinic. The service and care you provide to our patients will be in accordance to the CLPNA Standards of Practice – policies and procedures.
Key qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to the following: effective communicator, excellent computer and organizational skills, quick to learn and adapt to daily demands in the clinic - ability to multi-task, prioritize daily tasks and complete them in a timely manner, as well as work independently and attention to detail a MUST!
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program, active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the CLPNA. Also required, current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
Work experience – previous experience in this specialization preferred, but not required; MOA experience an asset.
Language skills – English – excellent oral and writing skills ; other language skills an asset
