Qualifications – Ontario Healthcare Facility
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN)
- Minimum of 2 years of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (required)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) completed within the last 6 months
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 3-month contract
- Ability to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required

Responsibilities:
Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) are required to adhere to the scope of practice as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Providing direct nursing care, including assessments, treatments, medication administration, and monitoring resident conditions
- Collaborating with Registered Nurses, physicians, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Supervising and supporting Personal Support Workers (PSWs) while ensuring high-quality resident care
- Accurately documenting resident care, assessments, and changes in condition in accordance with facility policies
- Promoting a safe environment by following infection prevention and control practices, resident safety standards, and applicable healthcare regulations
- Acting as the charge nurse when required, coordinating resident care and supporting unit operations
Note: Duties may vary slightly based on facility and shift, with specific guidance provided during site orientation.
Experience:
- 2 years of relevant Long-Term Care (LTC) nursing experience (required)
- Current experience working in a Canadian healthcare setting
- Charge nurse experience is an asset
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgment and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
