Overview
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Oversee food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene compliance
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage of ingredients
- Ensure all food served meets quality standards and presentation expectations
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house team to coordinate serving times and menu offerings
- Train new staff members on food preparation, safety protocols, and customer service
- Monitor kitchen operations to optimize workflow and reduce waste
Experience
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Experience in restaurant management or kitchen management roles preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Familiarity with the food industry trends, hospitality practices, and serving protocols
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
