Community Living Chatham-Kent is a progressive, people-oriented agency currently seeking a dynamic and self motivated person for the position of:
PASSPORT ASSISTANT
This new position vacancy will act as the primary financial and administrative lead, ensuring that passport funds are utilized effectively and in strict compliance with Passport Funding guidelines. Their core responsibility is to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the funding, which includes monitoring annual expenditures for each person, verifying that all purchases qualify as admissible expenses, and maintaining meticulous accounts of expenditures. By proactively monitoring spending patterns, they prevent overspending.
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate has a post-secondary education in Social Services, Business Administration, or Bookkeeping and a minimum of two-three years experience in the developmental services sector or financial administration. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database management. The ability to clearly articulate ideas, both verbally and in writing, is required.
