What You’ll Do in This Role
You’ll play a key role in shaping client success, managing files independently, and offering hands-on support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing working papers for Compilation, Review, and Audit engagements.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and tax returns (personal, corporate, and trust).
- Providing mentorship to junior staff and students, fostering a collaborative and welcoming environment.
- Engaging in integrated tax planning to help clients reach their financial goals.
Who We’re Looking For
You bring at least two years of public practice accounting experience, ideally complemented by a CPA designation or a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field. Proficiency with CaseWare, Microsoft Office, and tax software (like TaxCycle) is a plus, and familiarity with bookkeeping software (Sage50 Accounting, QuickBooks, or Wave) will set you up for success. We’re looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at balancing multiple responsibilities.
Position Details
This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary range of $55,000–$75,000 per year. We offer fun company events, on-site parking, and a team that’s genuinely invested in your success and happiness.
