Concord Confections, the manufacturer of Dubble Bubble gum and other fine candy products has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Planner.

The preferred candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of maintenance planning related experience in a manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this position has responsibility at both sites for:

Maintaining the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This includes recording the equipment repair history and generating standard and ad hoc reports for analysis.
Set-up recommended maintenance schedules and generating work orders. Includes preparing job plans detailing the scope of the work, required resources and duration.
Provide maintenance supervision support (hourly employee management), including staff scheduling.
Ensure Preventative Maintenance (PM) program standards are developed, maintained and improved.
Effective planning of all required resources - review the daily production schedule to set-up the maintenance PM schedules to utilize weekday hours.
Schedule service contractors & maintain documentation & monitor frequency & results.
Maintain the asset based maintenance work order response program and follow-up on completed work orders.
Trained at both plants and support Maintenance Salaried staff coverage and other needs.
Travel to and work at both production sites, as and when required.
Lead and/or support projects, initiatives and tasks, within and outside Maintenance department, as required.

Requirements:

· 5 years Maintenance Planner experience is preferred.

· Creative thinking and analytical skills.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

· Good writing and communication skills.

· Certificate/Diploma/Degree.

· Hands-on, High energy level, attention to detail.
