Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, adults, and the elderly
Conduct physical examinations and perform diagnostic tests
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and other treatments
- Educate patients on preventive healthcare measures and promote healthy lifestyle choices
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation of medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and research in order to provide the highest quality of care
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in Ontario
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the Primary Care.
- Ability to consult independently, as well as collaboratively, in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
- Ability to do 4 appointments per hour
- Ability to work between the hours of 10am-6pm Monday-Friday, Saturdays 10am-2pm
- Commitment to work minimum 2 hours per day, Monday-Friday
- Open work permit/permanent residency status or citizenship
- Ability to start working as soon as possible
