We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and proactive Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our fast-growing company. The ideal candidate will possess excellent bilingual communication skills in English and Chinese, bringing a strong background in HR management, talent acquisition, and organizational development. This role will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes to support our business growth and ensure a compliant, positive, and productive work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment: Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts (including optimizing recruitment strategies, managing job boards, conducting initial screenings, and interviewing); identify and attract top talent to support corporate expansion.
- HR Policy & Compliance: Develop, update, and implement corporate policies, employee handbooks, and official internal announcements; ensure full compliance with provincial employment standards and workplace regulations.
- Performance & Attendance Management: Oversee and optimize employee attendance tracking systems; design and manage performance evaluation frameworks to drive team productivity.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted liaison between senior management and employees, resolving workplace issues, managing grievances, and fostering a positive, inclusive corporate culture.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain, organize, and audit secure electronic and paper employee records; draft professional business documents and formal HR reports for executive review.
- Office Administration Oversight: Supervise core administrative functions, coordinate corporate events, and support basic corporate financial/expense tracking as required to ensure smooth office operations.
Qualifications:
- Language: Professional fluency (both verbal and written) in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
- CHRP designation is required. CHRL designation is a strong asset.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with demonstrated capability in an HR leadership or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with HRIS, payroll systems, or ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) is an asset.
- Core Competencies: Strong knowledge of employment standards and labor laws; exceptional conflict-resolution, problem-solving, and analytical abilities; outstanding time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
