Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice who is willing to work 2 Saturdays a month with future possibility to add more days.
Working hours - 9 am to 4pm (Alternate saturdays)
Compensation 40%-45% of collections (based on experience)
Tentative start date: July 18
The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform a wide range of dental procedures, and contribute to a positive patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced technology and comprehensive support systems. Candidates should have a strong foundation in dental practices, excellent communication skills, and a passion for improving patients’ oral health.
Candidates with experience, special interest in wisdom teeth extractions anduse of digital scanners are a bonus
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments using digital tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and preferences.
- Perform various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
- Utilize dental CAD software for designing restorations and prosthetics.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in electronic health record systems.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and post-procedure care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in dentistry, especially in pediatric dentistry when applicable.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control standards and OSHA regulations.
Requirements
- DDS or DMD degree from an accredited institution.
- Internationally trained dentists - NDEB certified
- Valid state dental license with the ability to practice independently.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix. We use Dentally.
- Experience working with Wisdom teeth exos, pediatric patients are preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and comfort patients of all ages.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care in a professional environment.
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
