Our client, a leading organization in the retail sector, is seeking a Demand Planner to join their team. As a Demand Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain organization supporting various operational and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and excellent stakeholder management skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Demand Planner
Location: Toronto, ON
Pay Range: $36/hr - $42/hr
What's the Job?
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts at SKU level across the retail portfolio.
- Integrate commercial inputs such as promotions, pricing, and product discontinuations into forecasting models.
- Analyze forecast accuracy and bias, implementing continuous improvement actions.
- Lead weekly operational meetings to ensure sufficient supply and adherence to inventory norms.
- Manage demand planning for imported products with extended lead times and variability, collaborating with supply teams to balance service levels and inventory management.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4+ years of experience in Demand Planning or Supply Chain roles.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and familiarity with SAP, Rapid Response, or Anaplan.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an end-to-end supply chain understanding.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder management capabilities.
