Job Summary
PFG Glass Industries is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our logistics team as full-time Shipping and Logistics Team Member at our Langley facility.
We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have strong attention to detail, work well as part of a team, and are willing to learn and develop new skills while building a rewarding career.
Previous glass industry experience is not required. Experience in shipping, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, construction, forklift operation, or other hands-on work environments is considered an asset.
PFG provides detailed hands-on training and ongoing support to help both new and experienced Team Members learn our equipment, shipping processes, safe glass-handling practices, OSSE safety requirements, and quality standards while developing the skills and confidence needed to succeed in their role.
Shippers may be assigned to specific shipping responsibilities or cross-trained throughout the department based on individual skills, experience, and operational requirements.
Compensation & Shifts
Starting from $23.00 per hour, based on relevant skills and experience.
PFG offers three regular full-time shifts:
- Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM | Starting from 23 dollar plus 1.50 per hour shift premium

Duties & Responsibilities
· Prepare, pack, and safely load finished architectural glass products for shipment.
· Pack, brace, block, band, and secure glass products to help prevent damage during transportation.
· Inspect finished products prior to shipment to ensure they meet established quality standards.
· Verify piece counts, product dimensions, labels, and shop orders before shipment.
· Prepare and review shipping documentation and packing slips.
· Use handheld scanners and company inventory systems to accurately track products and shipments.
· Safely operate shipping equipment as required and in accordance with established procedures.
· Identify and report product damage, discrepancies, equipment concerns, or shipping issues to the Team Lead or Manager.
· Follow established safe work procedures, safe glass-handling practices, and OSSE-certified safety program.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Work collaboratively with other Team Members to meet safety, quality, and shipping requirements.
Qualifications
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
· Reliable attendance and punctuality.
· Dependable transportation to attend scheduled shifts.
· Ability to accurately read a standard tape measure.
· Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners and inventory systems.
· Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
· Ability to stand and move throughout an eight-hour shift.
· Ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-based shipping and manufacturing environment.
· Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and shipping procedures.
Previous experience in shipping, warehousing, logistics, manufacturing, forklift operation, construction, trades, or other hands-on environments is considered an asset but is not required. Relevant skills and experience may be considered when determining the starting wage.
