Our client, a large manufacturer located in the South End, is currently looking at hiring Five (5) Manufacturing Workers / Small Assembly to join their team.
Our client is looking for individuals who are looking for full-time employment and who are not in school.

Required skills and qualifications:
- Experience in a similar position considered an asset but not required (General Labourer, Manufacturing/Production Labourer, Assembly, etc.)
- No direct experience required – all training to be provided
- Ability to understand English instructions
- Ability to work independently/in a team
- Capable of lifting up to 30lbs (lifting a box of finished products after assembly)
- Previous experience using hand tools (screwdrivers, drills, rivet guns, etc.)
- Must have a vehicle to work overnights as it is not accessible by public transit
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Using various small hand tools to assemble products (screwdrivers, drills, rivet guns, etc.)
- Light assembly - affix prefabbed parts in casings
- Assemble casings
- Mask parts for painting
- Unmask parts after painting
- Finish / File / Deburr parts
- Pack parts for shipment
- Organize workstation
- Lift up to 40lbs
- Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner
Other duties as assigned
The wage for these positions are:
$18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
OR
- Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 2:00am
