We are looking for an individual to join our team at our well-established, family run Optometric clinic. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and team oriented. Computer literacy is definitely an asset, but the most important qualities are a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. The position is either full-time or part-time, depending on the needs of the employee.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Reception duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, prepping patient charts, checking in patients, and processing specialist referrals.
· Testing patients on diagnostic equipment in preparation for their eye exam with the optometrist.
· Cleaning exam rooms and equipment before patient use.
Relevant optometric experience is an asset but not mandatory as we are willing to train the right candidate.
Successful customer service experience is beneficial
Starting hourly rate based on experience and skill set
Our clinic is open Tuesday - Saturday, so all team members are expected to be available to work Saturdays.
