Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health practices, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for at every visit.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) , and Trios scanning to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations
- Provide support for patients undergoing orthodontic treatment
- Manage patient records efficiently using Open dental practice management software
- Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages cooperation and comfort
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations, including assisting with dental assisting duties when needed
- Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and oral health instructions
- Maintain a clean, sterile environment following all infection control protocols and IPac regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient questions, concerns, and scheduling needs
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist
- Proven experience in dental hygiene, preferably within a busy dental office setting
- Knowledge of Open Dental or similar dental management software is highly desirable
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH language spoken and written.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and oral health care
- Previous experience in dental assisting or customer service roles is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor

Pay: $53.00-$58.00 per hour
