Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented Bartender/Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service, managing food and beverage orders efficiently, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves serving food and drinks, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests professionally and courteously
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and manage cash handling responsibilities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas in accordance with health regulations
- Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and change calculation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables during busy periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
- Must be at least 18 years old or older to serve alcohol (if applicable)
