Rol and Responsibilities:
- Assist in coordinating submission, distribution, and approvals of shop drawings
- Coordinate equipment delivery/release to different job sites
- Coordinate start-up for equipment reports
- Review, organize and manage the release of materials and equipment
- The candidate will be an overall support to all tasks of the Project Manager
- Ensure proper storage of files, drawings, etc. throughout construction and at completion.
- Collect, track, route and distribute all SI, RFI, Shop, drawings, CCN’s, CO’s and contracts including updating and maintaining the project network files.
- Monitor and update project schedules
- Update stakeholders of project delays, schedule revisions, and assist PM in resolving scheduling issues
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Project Managers and the Director, Operations as required
- Manage duties on multiple projects at once
Experience and skills:
- Minimum 5 years or relevant practical experience related to residential High rise construction industry
- 5+ years in the construction industry preferable mechanical background (Plumbing, Heating and Sprinklers)
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Experience using Excel, Word, Adobe Acrobat is a must
- Strong blueprint reading skills to understand construction plans and specifications
- Attention to detail, communication and problem solving skills
- Familiarity with Project Process or similar work experience in the industry.
- Organization skills
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment
- AutoCAD proficient in piping system
- Engineering degree with AutoCAD (not solid work) & mechanical system
- Diploma in project management preferred but not mandatory
