Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our team, delivering vital support to individuals in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals with disabilities by providing attentive personal care, assistance with daily activities, and fostering a safe, respectful environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities.
- Support with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being and independence.
- Observe and report changes in health status or behavior to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of medical supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, or home care is highly preferred.
- Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities, including dementia care, is advantageous.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and caregiving best practices.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate attitude towards clients.
- Must be reliable, patient, attentive to detail, and committed to providing high-quality care.
- Certification in caregiving or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed.
