DJ Mechanical is looking for an experienced Journeyman Heavy-Duty Mechanic to join our team in Whitecourt, Alberta.
This is a shop-based position focused on the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, works efficiently, and contributes to a strong team environment.
Overtime opportunities are available when additional hours are required.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment.
- Inspect and identify mechanical issues and complete required repairs.
- Perform adjustments, repairs, and overhauls as required.
- Prepare and complete daily work orders accurately.
- Track parts and materials used for each job.
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Help keep equipment maintained and ready for service.
Our work supports equipment used across industries including construction, transportation, forestry, mining, oil and gas, material handling, landscaping, land clearing, and agriculture.
