Description:
This person is a vital part of the inventory operation and back-of-house function in retail. They have key responsibilities to manage the restocking of all merchandise in designated retail locations daily and manage the organizational standards in the stockroom. They will assist the Inventory Assistant Supervisor, and Visual Merchandiser with inventory, merchandising standards, and cleanliness of all store locations.
They will additionally assist with the receiving and preparation of product before it hits the shop floor, including processing, counting, and tagging. This role will work closely alongside the Inventory Assistant Supervisor, Assistant Director, VM/ Educator, E-commerce/Jr Buyer, and Retail Operations Assistant Supervisor.
Job Functions:
Pre-season Responsibilities:
- Receiving/ Set-Up
- Assist with receiving new product orders and purchase order paperwork requirements.
- Prepare and pull the required merchandise for in-store displays.
- Organize the back stock to be standardized appropriately for the stockroom.
- Tagging/stickering of new product.
- Participating in merchandising and set up of all locations, with the direction of the store/ fixture planograms.
In-Season Responsibilities:
- Maintain stockroom standards and assist with condensing, organizing, and cleaning.
- Pulling product for floor staff to restock. Working closely with the Inventory Specialists and Assistant Retail Director
- Responsible for upholding cleanliness and organizational standards to relate to “on- floor product stories”
- Knowing stockroom layout/zones of product, to restock efficiently
- Responsible for assigned location(s) replenishment standards
- Ensuring the proper procedure and policies for all product transfers are taking place: creating and receiving lightspeed transfers
- This role will be required to assist with the physical inventory count and audits throughout the season and again at the operational close. Ensure all inventory is accounted for – this process may take place after the resort's operational hours.
Along with any other tasks/duties deemed suitable that are required by the Assistant Store Director, Visual Merchandiser, Inventory Specialists, and Store Director.
Experience/Requirements:
- Retail inventory or warehouse experience is an asset.
- Positive, outgoing, friendly attitude.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent time-management an asset.
- Prepared to work a flexible schedule (weekends, holidays, additional time during busy periods).
- Must communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
- Must be neat, alert, punctual, and dependable.
- Must maintain professional conduct when in uniform and when acting as a company representative.

- Employees must always be of sound mind, exhibit good judgment, and report to work fit for duty.
- This is primarily an indoor position, but is in a remote, alpine environment and employees must wear appropriate footwear and layers for the conditions. Some uniform pieces are provided.
- This position at times works alone, handles cash, and personal information.

Pay: $18.50 per hour
