We are currently recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Specialist. The candidate will play a crucial role supporting the sales and marketing team in the development and execution of marking strategies. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing an annual marketing budget. This role requires a highly organized, driven, and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position will be based in our Saskatoon, SK Head Office and will collaborate with various divisions and teams to align company efforts and standards.

Responsibilities
Marketing Plan:
- Creation of Marketing Plan to support customer base expansion.
- Assess opportunities for growth by industry, region and application.
- Energetically represent Delco at regularly attended industry functions.
- Research, evaluate, and provide feedback on market and creative trends.
- Identify target audiences and discover potential untapped market opportunities.
Brand Strategy:
- Creation of annual content calendar for LinkedIn and other platforms as appropriate.
- Assess characteristics of products or services to be promoted and advise on the advertising needs to increase interest.
- Identify customer value requirements.
- Oversee and/or create blogs, presentations, promotional material design, and other communications material to improve Delco brand recognition.
- Establish and maintain consistency in branding across all Delco divisions.
Event Coordination:
- Coordination of corporate trade shows and conference team attendance, hospitality nights, and internal company events.
Collaboration:
- Work with internal teams to help drive a customer-driven company culture.
Budget Management:
- Assist with budget and track related expenses relating to the Marketing Plan.
- Generate reports to report on progress.
Corporate Projects
- Manage Delco’s quarterly Employee Newsletter
- Lead the creation of a company marketing video to be used for recruiting and marketing purposes
- Support the various divisions with ad-hoc marketing-related tasks.
Required
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, and social media platforms.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to draft professional corporate correspondence.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
