This role would involve working among a team of project engineers and technologists, as well as collaborating with other engineers, designers, and project managers of various disciplines, and would include the design of wellsite facilities, pipelines, compressor stations, gas plants, and conventional oil facilities. The right candidate will display strong problem-solving skills, good judgement, willingness to learn, and communication abilities, along with the technical skills required to contribute to projects safely and efficiently.
Job Description and Requirements:
The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 5 years’ experience with an Oil and Gas EPCM company in a Project Engineer role.
Experience with Wellsite Facilities and Pipelines, Compressor Stations, Gas Plants, Conventional Oil Facilities is required. Experience with Treatment Recovery and Disposal facilities would be an asset.
Familiarity reading and designing project P&IDs and vendor package documentation.
Experience with AER Pipeline and Facility licensing.
Must be registered with APEGA and certified as a P.Eng. Other professional designations with a scope to practice in oil and gas are acceptable.
Can excel in planning, prioritizing, and working under pressure to meet set deadlines.
Ability to work independently, as well as in team environments as required.
Strong focus on client service and building lasting relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, always exuding a positive and professional manner.
