Summary
As a Special Needs therapist at ABA Speech and Autism , Inc., you will play a vital role in supporting children with autism and their families. This position involves working closely with clients with Autism spectrum disorder.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sessions to identify the behavioural needs of children with autism and special needs.
- Run ABA therapy for a home based client.
- Required availability is Monday to Friday 4:30pm to 6:30pm
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and community organizations to advocate for client needs.
- Follow plans developed by a professional
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in ABA, special education,PSW or developmental worker is preferred.
- Experience working with children with autism or special needs is essential.
- Strong case management skills with an understanding of available resources.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with families and professionals.
