Busy fabrication shop in Mission looking for Afternoon Shift, EXPERIENCED Metal Fabricators able to weld out a project independently.
TD Steel is a custom job shop that specializes in a wide range of fabricated goods from conveyor systems to agriculture equipment. We work with materials such as mild steel, AR plate, stainless and aluminum. We have in house plasma cutting, forming, rolling, shearing and drilling capability’s and we are willing to take on any job big or small. The variety of projects and custom jobs makes it a fun and challenging place to work. Our large indoor shop takes pride in keeping a safe, clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications.
- Utilize hand and power tools to fabricate metal components.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Continuously improve skills and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.
Qualifications
- Blueprint reading
- Hand tools proficiency
- Basic math skills
- Power tools experience
- Welding expertise, flat position CWB with flux or metal core preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge for fabrication tasks
- Ability to operate machinery like press brake and plasma cutting tools
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction principles
- Familiarity with rigging, crane operation, and assembly procedures
Must be currently living within commutable distance. We do not have a relocation program.
Wages dependent on experience.
