Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Assist in meal preparation, ensuring timely and efficient service during busy hours
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards in all aspects of food handling and storage
- Support kitchen operations by organizing supplies, utensils, and ingredients for smooth workflow
- Collaborate with team members to execute menu planning and special catering events
- Ensure proper knife skills are used for precise food preparation and portion control
- Help with food presentation to ensure dishes are visually appealing before serving
Experience
- Previous kitchen experience in a restaurant, catering, or food service setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with culinary techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with dietary department or dietary aide roles is a plus
- Strong knife skills and ability to assist in meal preparation efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues

Pay: $17.20-$35.25 per hour
