Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team in a lively restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly as a bartender.
- Ensure proper food handling and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Provide exceptional customer service by attending to guest needs promptly and courteously.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties accurately during shifts.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including bar stations and dining spaces.
- Assist in setting up tables, refilling supplies, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Follow all food safety regulations and restaurant policies to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Demonstrate effective time management to handle multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment while maintaining professionalism.
