Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable NSP Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure the efficient production of high-quality pallets. The ideal candidate possesses strong mechanical aptitude, a sharp eye for quality control, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine Operation: Safely operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal efficiency and peak output.
- Setup & Adjustment: Assist with machinery setup according to technical specifications and production schedules.
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Diagnose mechanical issues, perform minor repairs, and make necessary adjustments to minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they strictly adhere to quality standards and specifications.
- Safety & Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation in compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Technical Skills: Solid mechanical knowledge and a practical understanding of industrial machine operations.
- Blueprints & Diagrams: Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to follow precise instructions.
- Communication: Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, as well as comfortably bend, stoop, twist, reach, push, and pull objects throughout the shift.
Compensation & Additional Details
- Pay Rate: Competitive wage. Experienced machine operators will receive increased compensation commensurate with experience.
