Responsibilities
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires using a variety of hand tools and power tools with precision and care
- Conduct thorough inspections of tires and wheels to identify damage or wear that requires attention
- Perform routine maintenance on tire equipment and ensure all tools are properly maintained and stored
- Assist customers by explaining tire options, maintenance needs, and recommended services to enhance their experience
- Lift heavy tires safely and efficiently, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions
- Support the sales team by providing knowledgeable input on tire products and maintenance packages
Qualifications
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Familiarity with automotive maintenance procedures and tire technology is a plus
- Basic understanding of sales principles related to automotive parts and services
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is desirable but not mandatory
