We are looking for an experienced and passionate Cook to help support our team. The ideal candidate for this position has previous experience, enjoys working in a kitchen environment and is capable of taking direction well and multitasking effectively.
*Duties*
- Assist in preparing ingredients for menu items
- Follow recipes and guidelines to prepare food items
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen work area
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate food preparation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
*Qualifications*
- Previous experience working with a catering company, in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques and great knife skills
- Understanding of food safety practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Team player with good communication skills
