Reports To: Golf Course Superintendent & Assistants
Classification: Full Time Seasonal (must be available to work any shift including early
mornings, days, weekends & holidays)

Summary:
A level 1 operator is an entry level position that will be involved in various aspects of
golf maintenance. These basic tasks are the day to day tasks that must be
accomplished to ensure that the golf course is maintained at the level that we would
expect, and although a level 1 position is entry level, it is an integral position.

Primary Responsibilities:
Tee Block changing duties
Bunker maintenance
Walk-behind cutting
Weed-eating and flymo/pushmower work
Operate within set safety guidelines
Garbage collection
Addition duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications:
Able to demonstrate a growing knowledge of equipment operation as time
progresses.

Self motivated. Strong performer.
Able to positively interact with co-workers, and public.
An understanding of the game of golf is an asset.
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, sit, and reach with hands
Ability to lift/move objects up to 60 lbs.
Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
