About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Direct Sales Representative to support and grow our direct sales division. This role is responsible for managing inbound customer opportunities across both residential and commercial applications, helping customers purchase directly from us rather than through our existing reseller or distributor channels.
The ideal candidate is a motivated strong communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers navigate purchasing decisions through a consultative sales approach. This position plays an important role in driving revenue growth, maintaining a high standard of customer experience, and supporting the overall success of the direct sales team.
This role will manage the sales process from initial inquiry through quoting, closing, customer handoff, and the ongoing follow-up and coordination required to ensure a smooth customer experience.
In addition to direct sales responsibilities, this role will also assist with customer support related to replacement parts, damaged goods, warranty-related situations, and general post-purchase support to help maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and consistency throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities Customer Sales & Consultation
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries from website submissions, phone calls, social media, referrals, and marketing campaigns
- Guide customers through the purchasing process for both residential and commercial applications
- Provide consultative sales support by helping customers identify the best solutions for their needs, space requirements, and project goals
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication, responsiveness, and follow-through
- Support customers throughout the quoting, sales, and order process
Lead Management & Follow-Up
- Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with prospective customers through CRM
- Manage lead activity and opportunity progression
- Ensure timely response to inbound leads and customer requests
- Track and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline
- Re-engage past leads and inactive opportunities where appropriate
Sales Performance & Administration
- Maintain accurate records, notes, and forecasting information within the CRM platform
- Support achievement of individual and team sales targets
- Monitor and contribute to key performance metrics including conversion rates, close rates, and customer response times
- Use, contribute to, and maintain sales assets and documentation to continue improving the customer experience
Customer Experience & Support
- Deliver a high-quality and professional customer experience throughout the sales process
- Apply technical knowledge and details to ensure product fitment in customer space
- Address customer questions and concerns in a timely and solution-oriented manner
- Assist customers with replacement parts, damaged goods, warranty-related situations, and post-purchase support inquiries
- Coordinate with internal departments to support smooth order handoff and execution
- Support showroom visits, customer presentations, and demonstrations where applicable
- Help ensure consistency in customer service and communication across all customer touchpoints
Continuous Improvement & Team Collaboration
- Participate in ongoing product training and sales development initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and leadership teams to improve customer experience and sales effectiveness
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve sales processes and workflows
- Utilize CRM systems, communication tools, and AI-assisted technologies effectively
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or account management
- Strong communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical aptitude with measurements, dimensions, and spatial planning to effectively size customer spaces and provide working solutions
- Ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and contribute beyond assigned responsibilities
- Ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience using CRM systems and managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and growth-oriented environment
- Experience in construction, home improvement, commercial products, custom products, golf, sports, or related industries is considered an asset

Work Environment
This role operates within a collaborative and fast-paced sales environment with regular interaction across customers, internal departments, and leadership teams. The position involves a balance of customer communication, sales administration, relationship management, and customer support responsibilities. Participation in customer meetings, showroom appointments, trade shows, or events may be required depending on business needs, and some travel may occasionally be required.

Please note that this is a salaried position with commission opportunities. The compensation range provided reflects the combination of base salary and potential performance-based incentives for transparency.
Pay: $45,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
