Position Overview:
As a Field Coordinator / Technologist, you will be an integral part of our team, collaborating with project managers, engineers / technologists, clients, and other professionals to deliver high-quality work. You will have the opportunity to contribute to various stages of project development from start to finish. Your role will involve supporting construction activities while ensuring all on-site work adheres to engineering design, safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate field activities and manage on-site operations.
- Monitor construction activities.
- Assist with municipal and land development design and drafting.
- Conduct construction surveys.
- Prepare record drawings and other supporting documents.
- Verify as-built conditions to ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Laise with municipal inspectors and coordinate inspections.
Applicant Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous construction survey experience preferred but not required.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Technology or related field.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Knowledge of GPS surveying techniques.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to work effectively outdoors in a construction environment.
- Excellent time management, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
