The Opportunity (Onsite - Toronto, ON)
Are you a highly motivated individual with a passion for sales? Carbon6 is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our high-energy and talented sales team and contribute to our company's success, and drive our company’s success to new heights.
On our Business Development team, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our outreach strategies, building relationships, and identifying market potential in the ecommerce space. You’ll manage the initial stages of the sales cycle by qualifying leads for the Account Executives. This position offers a strong foundation for your sales career in a fast-paced startup, with ample opportunities for growth and learning.

Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify potential clients, creating opportunities and setting up high-value meetings for our Account Executives. Utilize research and data to prioritize outreach efforts and build a robust sales pipeline.

Sales Acumen: Generate new business by prospecting outbound leads through cold outreach to uncover their specific business needs and pain points. Maintain a high volume of cold-calling volume of 65-100 calls per day with the intent to qualify key leads.

Highly Self-Motivated: Hardworking and proactive professional with strong business acumen, ready to contribute to our growing Business Development team. Demonstrates a high level of energy and enthusiasm in taking ownership of tasks and driving results.

Proven Experience: 6-12+ months of sales experience, with a deep understanding of what it takes to succeed in sales. Industry experience in a B2B/SaaS and/or ecommerce experience is a plus.
