EZ-Vape is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Part-Time Sales Associate to join our retail team. In this role, you will be the face of the store, helping customers find the right products, sharing product knowledge, and ensuring the shop remains welcoming, fully stocked, and clean.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers warmly, assess their needs, provide informed product recommendations (devices, e-liquids, coils, and accessories), and process transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Age Verification: Strictly follow provincial age-verification laws and company policy by checking valid government-issued photo ID for every customer
- Inventory & Stock Management: Receive, verify, and put away weekly stock shipments; keep display shelves, counters, and back-stock organized and front-faced.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and professional retail environment by performing daily tasks such as sweeping, wiping counters/displays and emptying trash.
- Opening & Closing Duties: Secure the store, balance cash drawers, and complete daily shift logs accurately.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must meet the legal minimum age to sell vape products in the province.
- Prior experience in retail, customer service, or cash handling is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of vaping products, hardware, e-liquids, and industry trends (or a strong willingness to learn).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently during solo shifts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift boxes up to 30 lbs (14 kg) when stocking inventory.
Availability
- Flexible availability to work variable part-time shifts, including daytime, evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
Pay: $18.25 per hour
