This is a vacant position. Candidates must be 17+ years of age.

Maintain the Park’s soft landscape elements including planting, weeding, cultivating, edging, mulching, irrigating and pruning

Clean-up of plant material displays, woodlot and watercourses
- Assist in other areas of the department including; site clean-up and turf maintenance as required

Qualifications:

You!

Candidates that are enrolled in or graduate of a post-secondary program in a related field or equivalent experience
- Individuals that are able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions

Previous experience or knowledge of hand tools is an asset
- Candidates with a valid Ontario Driver’s license (class G/G2) with a clean abstract

Individuals that are able to provide their own CSA approved safety footwear

People that are comfortable working in a team environment

Candidates that have a reliable source of transportation, outside of public transit
- Availability to work Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm; weekends on shift rotation from 6am until 10am
