Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Assistant to join our travel team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our travel planning process, responsible for crafting detailed itineraries, conducting comprehensive travel research, and executing accurate price calculations. Beyond travel preparation, you will support cross-functional ad-hoc projects, including business marketing initiatives and vendor relationship management. This position is ideal for an analytical, adaptable individual who thrives behind the scenes to ensure seamless and extraordinary travel experiences.
Shift Requirement
This position operates on a standard Monday to Friday schedule, from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM. However, flexibility is required, as occasional overtime or prompt replies outside of regular working hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines or address urgent business needs.
Duties
- Itinerary Development: Research, draft, and prepare comprehensive, engaging travel itineraries tailored to specific business or client needs.
- Price Calculation & Costing: Perform accurate cost analyses, calculate pricing for complex travel packages, and prepare detailed financial quotations.
- Research & Preparation: Conduct in-depth research on destinations, accommodations, transportation, and activities to build high-quality travel products.
- Ad-Hoc & Business Support: Provide flexible support across the business by assisting with marketing materials and campaign rollouts, coordinating vendor communications and rate negotiations, and handling various cross-departmental tasks to support general operations and business development.
Requirements
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal) for effective cross-departmental and vendor collaboration.
- Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office (Excel/Word), and Canva for document preparation and content creation.
- Flexibility to work overtime or respond promptly to urgent matters outside of standard hours as needed.
- TICO certification required upon successful completion of the probationary period.
