Kelly Services is now recruiting for Mig Welders with some multipass experience at a large manufacturing shop located in Guelph. For over 40 years the company has been a supplier of choice for OEM customers in the Material handling, Rail, Construction and more. The ideal Welder will be responsible to operate welding equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures and to operate equipment in a safe manner to produce quality parts that meet or exceed the customers' requirement.

SHIFT: Rotating shifts with premiums

7:00am to 3:00 PM

3:00 to 11:00pm

11:00pm to 7:00am

Necessary Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary school or equivalent
  • CWB certified in GMAW horizontal position
  • Demonstrated knowledge of welding equipment, and its application
  • Ability to read blue prints
  • Knowledge of light crane operation
  • Safety conscious

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a clean and safe work area
  • Inspecting parts using methods and frequencies established by the Quality Assurance Department
  • Identifying and isolating parts that do not conform to specification
  • Ability to work shifts on a rotating basis
  • Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
  • Perform welding processes using established CWB procedures
  • Bar coding information relating to the operation being performed, into the computer system according to procedures
