The Program Evaluator will consult with the program submissions team and Senior Management team for all Long Term Care Services Administration & Management Diploma related programs.
PTIB Standards:
Credential Requirement:
- Relevant credential plus a minimum of two years of occupational experience in career occupations relevant to the program of instruction.
- No credential but a minimum of ten years of occupational experience in a career relevant to the program of instruction.
Educational Background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Administration, Long Term Care Management, Gerontology, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in long-term care facility administration or healthcare management.
- Familiarity with the regulatory and accreditation standards governing long-term care in Canada
- Experience in educational content development or curriculum design preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate with academic and administrative teams.
- Ability to remain current with healthcare trends, particularly in long-term care.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth understanding of the operational challenges in long-term care management, including staffing, patient care, compliance, and financial management.
- Proficiency with relevant technology, such as electronic health records (EHR) systems, scheduling software, and data analytics tools.
- Ability to integrate leadership, ethics, and decision-making into course content.
- Strong commitment to education and training in the healthcare industry.
Compensation:
- This will be a contract position that will pay $250.00 to $300 Canadian per project
