Project & Employment Support Coordinator

The Community Training and Development Centre (CTDC) is seeking a dynamic, community-focused professional to support an innovative workforce development initiative designed to strengthen Ontario's Early Learning and Childcare sector.
The role will involve working alongside local, national, and international partners. Responsibilities will include helping recruit, supporting, training, and connecting participants with meaningful employment opportunities while contributing to a sector-wide effort to raise the profile of careers in childcare and children's services.

Position Summary
The Project & Employment Support Coordinator plays a key role in supporting participants throughout their training and employment journey. This includes participant recruitment, employer outreach, placement development, job search coaching, data management, training support, and ongoing participant engagement.
The successful candidate will work closely with project staff, employers, community organizations, and participants to ensure positive training, placement, and employment outcomes.

Qualifications
Required
- Diploma or degree in Child Psychology/Child Development and/or Career Development/Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in employment services, workforce development, community engagement, recruitment, education, or a related field.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Experience working with diverse populations including youth, newcomers, women, Indigenous peoples, and individuals facing barriers to employment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred Assets
- Experience entering and maintaining participant data in CaMS or similar databases.
- Group facilitation or training experience.
- Experience securing employer partnerships and work placements.

Pay: $28.00-$36.00 per hour
Work Location: Remote
