In the Director of Asset Administration role your objective will be to provide strategic direction to a dynamic team of professionals on financial management and tenant relations. Leading the development and implementation of comprehensive asset management strategies, the aim is to maximize the value and performance of the company’s real estate portfolio. As Director of Asset Administration, you will get the opportunity to expand your leadership skills and learn from a sharp team of intelligent leaders who can support the expansion of your knowledge in real-estate management and more. With your ability to think-outside the box, you will be able to put industry best practices to use in areas such as financial analysis, contract negotiations, and all aspects of tenant relations.
As Director of Asset Administration, you’ll get to:
· Develop and implement comprehensive asset management strategies to maximize the value and performance of the company’s investment portfolio.
· Develop and maintain the operating budgets for our current assets; working with colleagues to ensure performance against the same.
· Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that could impact the portfolio, adjusting management strategies as necessary.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with tenants, investors, and service providers to align with business objectives.
· Overseeing the Senior Manager of Property and Finance to ensure accurate budgeting, financial reporting, and the execution of property financial management plans.
· Overseeing the Manager of Tenant Services to ensure tenant issues are promptly and effectively addressed in accordance with lease obligations
· Liaise with other departments in the organization including the leasing and legal teams to ensure appropriate operations
· Oversee tenant engagement and retention strategies
· Support and negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms and maintain high standards of service delivery, serving as a key point of escalation for any service quality disputes
· Mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
· Coordinating with various departments, including finance, and operations, to develop and implement strategies that enhance asset performance
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has the drive to push our people and processes to be the most effective and efficient they can be
- The experience to support and oversee a team of dedicated team members
- The ambition to grow their skillset and expand their knowledge
- University degree or technical diploma with a focus on Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent combination of skills and experience
- Previous experience in a customer service intensive environment is considered an asset
- Strong financial and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Effective organizational and time management skills with a focus on achieving deadlines
