Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator and Bookkeeper to join our team in a full time position. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and providing support to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
- Customer service support and scheduling of technical support
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Conduct account analysis and bank reconciliations
- Utilize Simply Accounting and other software for financial recordkeeping
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a professional manner
- Receiving of inventory and inventory management
- G/L adjustments, Worksafe Remittances, GST Remittances, CRA remittances
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in Simply Accounting and other accounting software
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and bank reconciliation processes
- Familiarity with budgeting principles and financial reporting
- Experience processing payroll and maintaining employee records
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
