General Summary:
The Sales Manager contributes to the success of PepsiCo Beverages Canada by leading the sales and distribution strategy for a regional area. This broad leadership role encompasses sales, delivery, merchandising, customer service, marketing equipment and partnering with our cross dock warehouse operations. This person will have the responsibility of leading a team of sales leaders, who, in turn, lead both hourly and salaried employees. The Sales Manager position is integral in driving superior marketplace execution and customer service, share growth and profit performance.

Key Responsibilities include:
Coach and lead a team of sales leaders, professionals, and non-union frontline employees on selling, display execution, merchandising standards, and people management
Maximize volume and revenue in a defined area in a direct store delivery go-to-market environment
Cultivate strong relationships with key customers in the region
Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance
Effectively lead delivery drivers, merchandisers and cross dock warehouse operations driving productivity and cost reduction efforts.
Develop, motivate and lead a large team of employees
Ensure the team delivers volume and revenue results while managing costs and customer service
Some travel required
Bachelor’s Degree required, business-related preferred
Consumer packaged goods experience in a direct store delivery environment
A minimum of 5 years of people leadership, preferably in a sales environment
Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills
Demonstrated computer proficiency: Microsoft Office Suite
Solid oral presentation skills required
Possess a valid driver's license and own vehicle
Relocation Eligible: Eligible for Standard Relocation
