What You’ll Do
Through relationship-building, outreach, and inclusive engagement practices, create positive and empowering experiences that promote growth, collaboration, and a strong sense of belonging.

Must-Haves:
-
Post-secondary education in Communications, Business Administration, Human Services, Social Work, Human Resources, Community Development, Public Relations or a related field is preferred
-
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
-
2-4 years of experience in volunteer coordination, community engagement or a related role
-
Experience working in a non-profit or community-based organization is an asset
-
Experience recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers or teams
-
Strong interpersonal skills
-
Excellent communication and facilitation skills
-
Commitment to equity, inclusion and creating a sense of belonging
-
Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector completed obtained within 60-days of date of hir

Working with Us
Compensation starts at $27.30/hour, with increases based on experience and qualifications.
Location: Jerry Forbes Centre
Position status: Regular full-time 37.5 hours per week
