Stallion Express is hiring for a Warehouse Associate/ Driver. In this role, you would be in the warehouse and assist with any local pick-ups as needed. The ideal candidate would have commercial experience driving a box truck and is not afraid to pick up a scanner and start processing our shipments!
Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 11 AM to 7 PM
Requirements:
- Related warehouse experience is preferred.
- Customer experience is required as we have clients that drop into the branch.
- Ability to do tasks such as loading, unloading, operating pallet trucks and lift gates.
- A high level of professionalism and attention to detail is required.
- Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task while not compromising on attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit to load client packages onto company vehicles (lifting up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable driving and have relevant work experience operating a box truck.
- Familiar with navigating around Calgary.
- The ability to drive across the border is a huge asset to this role.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 License with clean driver's abstract
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving, operating cargo van/box truck
- Reliable and efficient.
- Able to multi-task.
- Detailed-oriented and highly organized.
- Able to work independently and in a team.
- Self-motivated and requires little to no supervision when working.
- Must be able to reliably report to our Calgary branch for work for the schedule listed above.
