Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial or institutional spaces. This role is essential in creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of assigned areas
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, equipment, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners regularly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality of service
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning activities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies during daily operations
Requirements
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with punctuality and professionalism
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in a team environment
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
