Overview
JST Group Corp. is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead crews on active construction sites. This role combines site supervision, team leadership, and equipment operation.
The Foreman will be fully responsible for managing daily site activities, ensuring productivity, enforcing safety standards, and leading general labour crews efficiently.
We are looking for a hands-on leader who can both manage the team and operate machinery when required and is ready to start immediately without delay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities on-site
- Lead and manage general labour crews (attendance, performance, task assignment)
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Operate construction equipment (skid steer, excavator, etc.) when required
- Communicate directly with site supervisors, project managers, and clients
- Enforce all health & safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with Ontario safety standards
- Train and guide workers to improve performance and quality
- Maintain productivity and accountability across the crew
Mandatory Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or Crew Leader
- Valid Working at Heights Certificate (ACTIVE)
- Valid equipment certification (Skid Steer )
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to take full responsibility for a job site and crew
