About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team at our Queen West location. This role is ideal for a licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician as well as motivated Level 3 and Level 4 registered apprentices who are looking to grow their careers in a professional, fast-paced automotive service environment.
The successful candidate will perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs while delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and fluid replacements.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, engine, and drivability concerns.
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Repair or replace automotive components, including brakes, suspension, steering, cooling systems, exhaust systems, batteries, and other mechanical parts.
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify recommended maintenance and repairs.
- Test-drive vehicles before and after repairs when required.
- Complete repair orders accurately and communicate findings with the Service Advisor.
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Properly use and maintain shop tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and on time.
- Apprentices will work under the guidance of licensed technicians while continuing to develop their technical skills and complete apprenticeship requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid 310S Automotive Service Technician Licence or registered Level 3 or Level 4 310S Apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario.
- Previous automotive repair and maintenance experience.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid G Driver's Licence preferred.
- Own tools are considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
