What will I be doing?
The Wine Store Associate will report to the Wine Store Manager. They will be responsible for greeting guests and assisting them with selecting wines, restocking shelves, properly handling transactions using a POS system, assisting with in-store tastings and events, serving food and wine to guests, and helping to maintain the appearance and organization of the store.
Experience

Previous retail or hospitality experience is required

Previous experience selling wine or serving food is an asset

Knowledge of wines and wine regions
Skills

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Must be able to communicate effectively in English; verbal and written

Accurate cash handling ability

Team player with a positive attitude and attention to detail
Requirements

Smart Serve Certified

Must be able to lift boxes up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Must be able to safely operate and use a 3-step ladder as part of regular job duties

Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction

Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
