We are seeking an experienced and passionate cook to join our team in the small kitchen of our deli store. The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Eastern European dishes and will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare traditional Eastern European hot dishes including pierogi, cabbage rolls, schnitzel, stews, soups, pastry.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and handling practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with experience in serving preferred.
- A passion for the food industry and commitment to high-quality standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
