SAGE Dining Canada is the food service provider at independent and private schools and colleges across the country and we are seeking talented, passionate individuals to join our team!
A cook prepares food ingredients, follows recipes, and cooks meals in a food service setting. Core tasks include prepping food, operating kitchen equipment, and keeping a clean work area. You will do it all- cook, clean, and front of house. We are looking for a hard-working, and energetic team member with mad-cooking skills with an upbeat personality. The chosen candidate must have experience in large production, be willing to follow recipes, is self motivated and efficient. What you'll do:
- Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests’ expectations.
- Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
- Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
- Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).
What you'll need:
- Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
- Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
